The combined organization, under a new name, will have ten locations and approximately three-hundred employees, and will create a stronger entity located in Central Texas. Together we will offer customers a larger equipment inventory, more locations and more solutions while continuing the hometown service customers enjoy. Our goal is to earn your business!
2. When will the new dealership name be effective?
Effective November 1, 2017 Coufal-Prater Equipment and Brazos Valley Equipment will do business as United Ag & Turf.
3. What will happen to the employees with whom I deal?
United Ag & Turf employees are crucial to the ongoing success of the combined dealerships. It is important to retain employees who you have come to know and depend on to help with your equipment needs. We believe those same employees will have a significant opportunity and role in the combined dealerships.
4. What happens to my account?
Account numbers, equipment profiles, service history, and contact information will remain the same and be honored. However, there may be slight change once the systems of the two dealerships are merged. We will communicate every step of the way.
5. Who is the ownership of the new organization?
Kirk Fernandez is the majority owner while Tim Prater, Tom Prater, and Brent Neuhaus still retain interest.
6. Will any locations close?
This merger will expand the market we serve and offer more resources for retail and commercial customers to conveniently do business withUnited Ag & Turf. The combined dealership offers our customers 10 convenient locations to do business with. Those Texas locations are: Weatherford, Cleburne, Ennis, Hillsboro, Waco, Temple, Taylor, Cameron, Bryan, and Navasota.
7. Will my warranty and account history stay intact?
Yes. All new equipment warranty info is registered with the manufacturer and will not change.
